Now a resident of Asheville, NC, 27 year-old singer-songwriter Kimberly Summer is beginning to make waves in Western North Carolina. With a collection of over fifty acoustic folk/rock originals and a strong base of cover songs, Kimberly's repertoire allows her success at any venue. Most currently, Kim has finished recording a new CD with Asheville's very own Chris Rosser, and it was released on May 7th, 2005. But words are nothing without a voice, and Kimberly certainly has the voice. Drawing Sarah McLachlan and Natalie Merchant comparisons, Kimberly's voice can fill up a room and make complete strangers a captivated audience.
